LOTUS is a smart, real-time oil monitoring system designed to change the way shipowners and operators manage machinery health. Instead of relying on delayed lab reports or routine guesswork. LOTUS is designed with scalability at its core. With our Junction Box (JB), you can connect multiple Beacons across different machinery assets—enabling centralized oil condition monitoring for your entire operation.
Each LOTUS Beacon continuously monitors vital oil health parameters like viscosity, water content, wear particles, and more in real time, directly from equipment such as engines, gearboxes, and hydraulic units.
The system features a built-in bookkeeping module that automatically logs data at user-defined intervals—weekly, monthly, or custom schedules.
It also supports on demand report generation, allowing users to generate detailed reports for any specified time period with just a few clicks. This ensures effortless record-keeping, audit readiness, and clear visibility into historical trends for informed decision-making.
The system is designed to be installed across multiple equipment onboard ship, without any shore / external assistance. The unit only requires to be powered up and shall carry out detection – data record and transmission functionality seamlessly.
Test Bed Data
Test bed of LOTUS Beacon was conducted successfully on Main engine. The system was installed across main engine lube oil cooler. LOTUS Beacon provided continuous offline monitoring of system oil quality detecting degradations, contamination and presence of wear debris in the flow.
